| Comments | Some copies are pressed on smoky grey translucent virgin vinyl. This version is the RCA Music Service release. There is conflicting information on label and back credits concerning marketing and manufacture, but this appears to be because RCA Music Service used stock labels and covers. Only RCA Music Service matrix appears in runouts. Also of interest is that as a club version it still has a printed barcode, but with an unusual addition of "RX1 3099", which is also present on the labels. Labels also have "72" printed on them that should signify a PRC, Richmond pressing, but runouts and 26mm press ring size clearly identify this a an RCA, Indianapolis pressing. This compilation includes a who's who of musicians that have played with Clapton over the years with Carl Radle playing bass guitar on all but B1 and Eric Clapton on lead guitar and lead vocals on all tracks. Runouts include both stamped and etched characters. |
