| Comments | One of the earliest double album packages in the history of rock music [competing with 'Blonde On Blonde'], first released in USA July 1966. This is the first UK double-album issue of the original recording (Stereo only) December 1971. Labels have "TWO RECORD SET-RECORD No.#" in 2 lines on left side of label / MADE UNDER LICENCE... Gatefold un-laminated cover: Verve logo to front & back. 2683 004 SELECT on back top-right & "Marketed by Polydor" bottom left. See images. Vinyl (black/silver labels) packaged in punched poly-lined paper bags; 2352 023 & 2352 024 respectively. Black & white half-tone inner spread with "Biographical Trivia", notes on compositions and a list of influential musicians & celebrities under the heading: "These people have contributed materially in many ways to make our music what it is.
