| Comments | All songs produced by The Eccentronic Research Council with Sean Lennon. Download code included. Limited Edition of 500 copies. Press notes: The Moonlandingz are the semi fictional psych-pop group put together by Sheffield’s practical electronics wizards and analogue taxidermists, 'The Eccentronic Research Council' (Adrian Flanagan & Dean Honer) & Fat White Family's frontman, Lias Saoudi and guitarist, Saul Adamczewski. Also part of the recording band are Sheffield based producer, Ross Orton on drums (Arctic Monkeys, M.I.A) and Mairead O'Connor on bass. The single, a taster for their debut album - due in 2017 - was produced by The E.R.C with Sean Lennon (who also played additional guitar on the record) in Sheffield & New York, and mixed by legendary Flaming Lips, Tame Impala and MGMT producer, Dave Fridmann. Black Hanz marks the first release for the band following their signing to Transgressive Records. |
