UK three CD live archive release. Blue Floyd is a conglomeration of former/current members of the Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule and The Black Crowes performing Blues interpretations of Pink Floyd songs and, while the concept may sound strange, in reality the mix goes down just right. The band have been in existence for around 10 years and during that time have built up a large and enthusiastic fan base for the bands unique blend of styles. Whilst the band have an almost fluid line up with members coming and going, the concept remains a steady one and also one that is proving extremely popular in the live arena. This concert recording took place in January 2000 and features the line up of Allen Woody (guitar, bass and vocals), Matt Abts (drums), Marc Ford (guitar and vocals), Johnny Neel (keyboards, harmonica and vocals) and Berry Oakley (bass, percussion and vocals).
