| Comments | Frank Sinatra - In the Wee Small Hours Capitol DT-581, Original "Duophonic" Release Note on Duophonic: In an effort to increase their stereo offerings around 1960, Capitol took some of their classic monaural albums and reprocessed them into a kind of fake stereo they called "Duophonic." The results were not really satisfactory and I don't believe sales were ever too brisk so that this version is now quite rare. But, of course, it is inferior in sonic quality to the original W-581. |
