Tracks 1 to 6 originally issued as Impulse AS-9118. Track 7 previously unissued. Track 8 originally issued as Three For A Quarter, One For A Dime (Impulse AS-9162). Tracks 7 and 8 are bonus tracks. "Note: :Three For A Quarter, One For A Dime" - originally titled on the tape box as "Dedicated To James Brown" - was originally issued in two parts on AS-9162. It is presented on this disc as originally played in continuous performance. Due to rippling on the original master, there are several sections when the cymbals seem to have a slight phasing effect."
