Additional Information
| Comments | Label name appears UNDER the logo on the center labels. Another US pressing with the label name TO THE RIGHT of the logo also exists. All songs published by Stainless Music BMI Recorded at Blackwing 1 & 2 Studios. Marketed by Warner Bros. Records. Inc., a Warner Communications Company. © ℗ 1982 Sire Records Company. Made in U.S.A. MUTE Records logo also appears on both the back cover & center labels. Regarding runout etchings: The he Allied "a" logo' is machine stamped can only be described as looking like a 'Q' or a lower case "a" (the type without a 'top') and is the Allied Record Company logo. Regarding 'Companies etc' info + 'Matrix / Runout' & 'Other' info in the B&OI: Both the A Side & B Side: "B-#####" secondary matrix numbers (# being a number), along with the known relationship between this label and the manufacturer/pressing plant, indicate that this record was pressed at Allied Record Company. A Side only: The 'Allied "a" logo' also indicates that this record was pressed at Allied Record Company. "-SH#" (# being a number) at the end of the matix number along with "SLM" and "△ 2193" together indicate that both the metal Mother Disc AND the metal Stampers used to press the A Side were made at Sheffield Lab Matrix. B Side only: "SPAR" etching and the "-SP#" at the end of the matrix number (# being a number) indicates that the B Side was sourced from metal parts (metal mother disc) created at Specialty Records Corporation for use at Allied Record Company. "△ 2193-X" indicates that the Stamper metal part used to press the B Side were made at Sheffield Lab Matrix, while the "-SP#" (# being a number) and the lack of an "SLM" etching on an Allied Record Company pressing indicates that the Stampers used to press the record were created from metal parts (metal matrix discs and/or metal mother discs) that came from Specialty Records Copropration. |
