Track details are also available on the outer side of the actual box-set. This collection - arranged on 4 thematic CDs - celebrates this remarkable period with selections from his seminal big band years, Number One hits and familiar songs that helped make him America's very first "Teen Idol," and a generous sampling of the songs that Sinatra turned into classic popular standards. Among the treasures are a selection of rare radio transcription recordings (many previously unissued), and the finest examples of his studio work at Victor and Columbia: all restored and remastered from the original session discs and tapes for the best possible sound. |
