Gatefold sleeve.
The first sleeves for 'Aladdin' were custom printed in 7 colors, including the silver ink used on the inside. These can be identified from the blue of the front lettering and back outline, which appear in a true ("royal") blue on the original, while subsequent printings used a standard 4-color CMYK process and have a distinctly greenish (cyan) color to the blue lettering and outline, while the shoulders are less silver.

Issued with printed inner sleeve.
May include David Bowie Fan Club Application Blank insert.

Promotional copies have a white 4"x5.75" sticker on the first printing front sleeve with track-list and timings (different from those shown above) and the notation, "PLEASE AUDITION BEFORE RADIO AIRPLAY" (see Images).

There are also promotional copies with text: NOT FOR SALE promotion use only etched in the top left corner of the back of the cover. (see photo).
