Comments Bat Out of Hell er det andre albumet fra den amerikanske artisten Meat Loaf, utgitt oktober 1977. All musikk og alle tekster er skrevet av Jim Steinman. Albumet er det femte mest solgte i verden, med omtrent 43 millioner solgte kopier.[1]
Steinmans musikalske stil på dette albumet er tydelig inspirert av blant andre Richard Wagner, Phil Spector og Bruce Springsteen. Produsent, multiinstrumentalist og gitarist Todd Rundgren setter også sitt tydelige preg på albumet. Senere har Meat Loaf gitt ut oppfølger-albumene Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell i 1993, og Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose i 2006.
