| Comments | First release with the original 'album versions' with A-side matrix numbers ST-1-12211 F-II / -Z1 / -Z4 / -Z5. There are several variants of later re-issues with the same catalogue number, but different matrix numbers, playing longer versions on side A, the so-called 'Kershenbaum remixes'. This first release of Rio had been pressed at [l313656]. Different lacquers had been used for these pressings, mastered both, at [l265641] and, in-contract, at [l186075] Gold-Stamp promos exist with messaging on top right corner of cover "Property of Capitol Records, Inc. This Album is on loan for PROMOTIONAL USES ONLY." Letter and 6 digit number combinations are stamped on each, as identifiers (example in hand is L 008852). |
