Comments The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, eller bare Ziggy Stardust, er et konseptalbum av den britiske musikkartisten David Bowie fra 1972. Albumet er Bowies femte og blir regnet som et av de store i rockehistorien. Musikkmagasinet Melody Maker har utpekt albumet som det definitive albumet fra 1970-tallet. I 2003 kom albumet på 35.-plass på musikkmagasinet Rolling Stones liste over «Tidenes 500 beste album».[1] Albumet klatret til femteplass på den britiske albumlista og til 75.-plass på Billboard 200 i USA.
