| Comments | Comp album. UK edition on blue Starline labels, issued in a textured sleeve printed in black and white. "A Bizarre Collection Of Antiques & Curios" on front cover artwork. On rear cover: stereo Ø tracks A1, A3 are mono recordings electronically reprocessed to give a stereo effect on stereo equipment. The Gramophone Co. Ltd. on label perimeter text, EMI logo at 6 o'clock with Made In Gt Britain below it. Album cover designed by drummer Nick Mason "Relics" most noted for its inclusion of Syd Barrett-era hit singles, "Arnold Layne" and "See Emily Play". As well as B-sides to three other singles. The Relics versions of "Paintbox", "Julia Dream" and "Careful with That Axe, Eugene" are mixed in stereo. Album also includes previously unreleased studio recording of a Roger Waters composition, "Biding My Time". (wannabye CS) |
