Additional Information

Comments Recorded in West Saugerties, N.Y., June–October 1967.
Bob Dylan used the alias Blind Boy Grunt for recordings he made for Broadside Records in 1962–63. The alias was revived by the compilers of this unauthorized release, which nowhere includes the name Dylan—though the extensive rear cover notes do refer several times to "Bob."
Side 3 features The Hawks exclusively, without Dylan's participation.
"Ferdinand" is formally cataloged as "Ferdinand the Imposter." "One Single River" is formally cataloged as "Song for Canada."
