Comments Released in gatefold sleeve with thick picture inner sleeves.

Inner sleeves:

This double album was recorded during five concerts which Jean-Michel Jarre presented in Peking and Shanghai. The concerts were the first performances of rock or contemporary music ever given in the People’s Republic of China.

Jean-Michel Jarre wrote several new compositions for this historic occasion, including: 'Night in Shanghai', 'Laser Harp', 'Arpegiator', 'Orient Express', 'Souvenir of China', and 'Fishing Junks at Sunset', which was performed and recorded with the Peking Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra.

Recorded during concerts performed on Peking and Shanghai in October 1981 on the Flight Mobile with the Saje Console.
Mixed on MCI equipment.
Released on Dreyfus Records, Paris ©℗ 1982.

Inner sleeve lists 'Laser Harp' as track B4, though vinyl label lists as track C5 (which is correct).

In each runout matrix, there are two strings of characters, with each string upside-down relative to the other. These are split in the Barcode and Other Identifiers field below. Generally speaking, each string is either stamped or hand-etched (but see below). Details of the matrix no.s are as follows:
- side A hand-etched: "PDM - 1 8-110 - A" is struck through
- side A stamped: between "1 610" and "6" is a series of difficult-to-decipher characters crossed out
- side C hand-etched: there are indecipherable hand-etched characters etched over each other and then struck through between "2335-" and "261-A"
- side C stamped: the final "3" actually sits between the hand-etched "C" and "2335-"
- side D hand-etched and stamped: the initial "12" and the final "1 · 5 6" are stamped, all other characters in this string are hand-etched; the "5" in "1 · 5 6" is crossed out.
- side D stamped: the final "L" is stamped over the final "2"
