Over the course of its chart life, "Break Out" was released in two versions, complete with different catalogue numbers and different track listings. This is the second (and more common) version of the album as it appeared in stores when the third single "Jump (For My Love)" was at the peak of popularity and single number four, a remixed version of "I'm So Excited" (which originally appeared on the Sisters' prior album ''So Excited!'') was being served to US top 40 & R&B radio stations. "I'm So Excited" replaced the song "Nightline" which now only appears on the original version of "Break Out," making the original version somewhat of a collector's item. Aside from adding "I'm So Excited" to the roster, "Jump" was renamed to "Jump (For My Love)" to avoid confusion with the Van Halen song "Jump" which was also a hit at the same time. The order of the tracks was altered as well so the new version would still have ten songs total, five to a side. Released with a printed inner lyrics-sleeve
