Comments This 4-CD box set includes Townes Van Zandt's seven studio albums from his creative peak between 1968 and 1978, plus four studio out-takes c. 1972/3 and eight live songs performed in July 1973 (as taken from the [m=36810] live album) which do not appear on the seven studio albums. The box also includes a 36-page illustrated booklet.

This is the short-box format reissue. Originally released in a [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/4692822]deluxe long-box format[/url] without tracks 4-11 to 4-14, which were previously released as bonus tracks on Charly Records CD reissues of the Townes Van Zandt's [m=36830] album (first in 1998, and also in [url=http://www.discogs.com/release/2323103]2003[/url]).
