| Comments | Comes with flyer (MIC 61455), "Special Mail Order Offer ONLY $34.95". Book tells whole story of The Beatles. Plain white inner sleeve. 978-83 pressing has purple labels with "Mfd. by Capitol." in the rim text and did not come with a booklet. - Near the beginning of this run, Capitol dropped the 24-page book from the cover and placed a purple bar over the line mentioning the book. - Inside cover credits now states, after track A6: "All side-one selections are published by Comet Music Corp, ASCAP" while after track B5 is stated "All side-two selections are published by Maclen Music, Inc, BMI". - 1981-83 pressings may have come with plastic purple Capitol inner sleeve. - Pressed at Capitol's Winchester factory, as identified with a "• ─◁" in the run-outs.
