Originally this 7" was part of a reward you could select as part of The Slackers BigTunes crowd funding for the The Slackers Summer of Big Tunes. The full reward was that you would send them lyrics and music and they would redo the song, create a 7" of it for you as a one of a kind. Two fans took advantage of this reward tier. Christopher Mele & Joseph Hedges stepped up and sent Dave and the crew notes, charts, lyrics, chords to be transformed, recorded, mixed and mastered. Later the next year the band thought the songs were so good that the fans would want to hear then and started another BigTunes crowd fund to create an unspecified amount of these records on 7". |
