| Comments | Issued in a slim double jewel case with clear tray and 12-page booklet. The Cure published their first official live album since 1993 - and their first complete concert on disc at all. The concert had been recorded during their headline set at the Bestival open-air on the Isle Of Wight, September 10, 2011. Keyboardist Roger O'Donnell had been back in the band and they performed "The Caterpillar" for the first time in 20 years. Encore 1 starts with "Lullaby", encore 2 with "Boys Don't Cry". Comes with a black sticker written on it: 32 live tracks over 2 CDs. “The Cure had pulled off the epitome of the "festival set" akin to Bowie at Glastonbury 2000 or Macca at Glasto '04, and every bit as legendary.” - The Guardian All profits from the sale of the CD will go to the Isle Of Wight Youth Trust. This show was mixed loud, and even played louder... so turn it up! Track 2-16 "Killing Another" is the new version of "Killing An Arab". |
