This box set consists of heavy card photo-laminated outer box, containing heavy card photo-laminated wallet book that has a 112-page booklet & 5 CDs (in 5 natural card jackets) bound into the wallet spine. Booklet contains interviews, essays and rare photos, as well as track info. Disc 4 is a partially-enhanced CD [Macromedia / Quicktime] containing tracks of live footage from 1968-72 performances. Tracks 1-1 to 1-3 recorded at Original Sound, Hollywood, C.A. Track 1-4 recorded at Vliet's mother's house, Carolside, Lancaster, CA. (One channel uses an 'Electrovoice 664' microphone for Vliet). Tracks 1-5, 1-6, recorded at Wally Heider Studios, Hollywood, CA. Tracks 1-7 to 1-10 recorded live at Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco, CA. (Aug/Sep '67). Track 1-11 recorded at Gold Star Studios, Los Angeles, CA. Tracks 1-12 to 1-14 recorded at Original Sound Studios, Los Angeles, CA. Tracks 2-1, 2-2 recorded live at MIDEM Pop Festival, Cannes beach, France. Tracks 2-3 to 2-6 recorded live at Frank Freeman's Dance Studio, Kidderminster, UK.
