| Comments | Tracks 1-3 are rough mixes from the "Hectic" sessions (11-27-87). Tracks 4-7 & 10 are "Gilman" demos (8-24-87). Track 8 was recorded live on KSPC radio (3-17-88). Track 9 was recorded live on WFMU radio (4-21-88). Tracks 10 and 11 aren't listed on release Mastered from 7 year old cassettes. "What You Hear Is What You Get". There are at least 2 CD picture variations (see pictures) : one with the standard Audio CD logo and one with the following mentions : "Play Loud" & "KARCD-1". One of them might be a bootleg, more information needed. This was produced by David Hayes from Lookout! and Very Small Records, here is his statement on his facebook page : "10,000 pressed. The crappy quality OPIV boots were starting to come out. I decided to do my own. These are FIRST generation tapes (I took my own tape deck to the recording session at Gilman Street.) Graphics, Photos, Backup vocals and Logo by me. Everyone was paid well." |
