Release artwork presents the main artist as Tip-Top and album title as Chansons d'Ennui, Jarvis Cocker only credited on hype sticker and via "All songs performed by Jarvis Cocker (& Friends)" mentions. Tip-Top is the name of the character played by Cocker in Wes Anderson's film "The French Dispatch".
Release artwork / credits contain a number of errors:
• track B3 correct title is "Mon Amie La Rose"
• credits for tracks A1 and B1 omit French lyricists
• credits for "Elle Et Moi" appear to conflate original songwriters (Valadon, Cerrone) and producers/members of UK dance music act [a58907] (Gilbert, Payne) who remixed this track ([r210837] / [m=59877]).
Pre-orders from [l993033] exclusively came with a signed & numbered 'Tip-Top's Top Tips' note, featuring a favourite French song. |
