Comments	Blood on the Tracks er Bob Dylans femtende studioalbum, utgitt i 1975 av Columbia Records. Albumet markerte Dylans tilbakekomst til Columbia etter to album på Asylum Records. Etter flere utgivelser med lunken mottakelse var kritikere og fans enige om at Dylan var tilbake i storform. I ettertid blir albumet betraktet som ett av hans beste. Uttrykket «det beste siden Blood on the Tracks» er blitt brukt om påfølgende plater.[1][2][3][4] Albumet satte standarden for bekjennende singer-songwriter-album; selv om Dylan har sagt at sangene ikke er selvbiografiske, sier hans sønn Jakob Dylan: «The songs are my parents talking».[5] Mesteparten av tekstene på albumet handler om hjertesorg, sinne og ensomhet. I 2003 kom albumet på 16.-plass på musikkmagasinet Rolling Stones liste over «Tidenes 500 beste album».[6] Albumet nådde nummer 1 på Billboards popliste og nummer 4 i Storbritannia. Singelen «Tangled Up in Blue» kom på 31.-plass på Pop Singles Chart. Albumet er blitt et av Dylans mestselgende studioalbum med sertifiseringen dobbel-platina i USA.
