| Comments | Recorded live on February 21, 1954 at Birdland, NYC. Track 6 & 7 are bonus tracks which were not part of the original 12" vinyl album. These are mono recordings. The original 12" LP issue of tracks 1-5 was Blue Note BLP 1522. #1 originally issued on 10" LP 5038, #2, 4 & 5 originally issued on 10" LP LP 5039. The cover of this CD uses artwork from the original Blue Note 10" LP release. All titles have been previously issued on CD 46520. |
