Comments Released in a ''slide'' cover (group picture is printed on clear film applied to a die-cut opening), and the "DOORS" lettering is raised. Yellow inner sleeve that is plain on the front and has artwork on the back. The cover and inner sleeve corners are rounded.
Some copies came in a shrink that advertises the ''hit single Love Her Madly''.

Recorded at The Doors Workshop in Los Angeles.

The original run of the LP includes the following:
1) The Elektra Records address on both the back cover AND on the record label say "15 Columbus Circle, New York City 10023. Later pressing switch the label address to the Cienga address in Los Angles.
2) the record label does not include the Warner Brothers "W" on the label. The W was added when they bought Elektra shortly after.
3) The plate number etching on the vinyl includes a "CTH" or a "CSM" depending on where the record was pressed.
