| Comments | Recorded At Jamaica Recording And Publishing Studio Ltd. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is a first generation repress with the new red and green Calla label design before they launched a distribution pact with CBS Records the following year (1977). It was also the final pressing of its kind before CBS decided to split the album into two. The two subsequent LPs would be known as "The Birth Of A Legend featuring Peter Tosh" and "Early Music featuring Peter Tosh". Peter Tosh has just been signed to CBS in 1976, so this was a calculated move to help tie this compilation in with Tosh's CBS material. |
