CD package at Waldo's Design & Dream Emporium Recorded and partially dubbed at Foel Studios, Llanffair Caerinion, Wales, June 27 - July 4, 1976. Final dubbing, recording of 'Looking Glass', mix at Rockfield Studios, Monmouth, July 5 - 14, 1976. Digital remastering at Sofa Sound. Analogue to digital transfers at Abbey Road Studios, London. Grateful thanks to Cary Anning at Abbey Road Tape Library and to Paschal Byrne and Ben Wiseman at The Audio Archiving Company for their invaluable help. - Tracks 9 and 10 were recorded for the John Peel Show on BBC Radio 1. First transmission 21st April 1977. - Track 11 is described in the liner notes as "a version of Looking Glass, from Kansas City, bootleg style". The back of the CD and the rest of the booklet label it as an "Alternate Take". |
